Staff & director complete Prostate United challenge

2 December 2021

The team of staff and director who took on the Prostate United challenge to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK during November have completed their challenge and are continuing to raise donations online.

So far they have raised over £1,300 for Prostate Cancer UK through the Prostate United campaign - an annual fundraiser aimed at raising money and awareness of prostate cancer.

Head of medical Gavin Crowe, sports therapist James Redman, strength & conditioning lead Josh Harris, director Clive Gowing and media & communications manager Richard Joyce have all taken part.

It has invovled running either 10 kilometres or cycling 25 kilometres every day during the month of November.

One in eight men in the UK will get prostate cancer. It's hoped the money raised by those taking part from the Robins will go to fund important research and care for those suffering with the cancer.

It's still possible to donate online to add to the total that has been raised. You can donate via the Just Giving page that has been set up as part of the challenge.

The final total will be passed onto the national Prostate United campaign that has raised over £130,000 from clubs across the United Kingdom.
